Waikaia Cavalcade Grand Parade & Market Day

We are please to announce that our Headline Act -the World Famous Topp Twins will be preforming live for all at the Waikaia Cavalcade Market Day!!!

There is a full day planned with something for everyone on the line-up. 

Entry is $10 per adult   -  Kids/Teens Free!!!    (Cash at the Gate)

Gates Open 10am !!!!

Public parking signposted on arrival into town.....

Accessible parking available on request. 

NO DOGS on Market Day Grounds. 

Grand Street Parade - Starting at 12pm - the 2024 Cavalcade will parade down the main street of Waikaia for all to see. We will line the streets as 500+ Riders, Horses, Wagons, Bikers and Walkers bring their week long journey over our mountains to a close. Make sure you get to Waikaia early to secure your spot on the Main Street for viewing. 

This will be a sight to be seen!!!!

Market Day - we have a large arrangement of Stalls joining us on site for your shopping pleasure.... 

These will be open from 10am - 4pm so come for a browse!  Check out the line-up in our 'Meet the Stallholders' tab. 

Food & Drink - We have an array of Food Trucks and Stalls to fill the belly's and maybe space for a little post lunch treat!

Coffee Carts and other cold drinks are also available , and for those looking for something a little stronger - a Fully Licensed Garden Bar open from 1.00pm.  Details of these are available in our 'Meet the Stallholders' tab. 

Entertainment - The Main Stage will be busy with music and entertainment for for your listening pleasure. 

Live Performances over the afternoon.....At the commencement of the Grand Parade we have 

Kayla Mahon starting the line-up at 12.30pm; 

Dame Lynda & Jules Topp (Topp Twins) on stage 1.30pm;

and Halton Hart Family Band on stage at 2.30pm.

Sure to keep you toe tapping all afternoon. Blankets and Chairs welcome as you find your spot on the grass!!

Don't forget the Hats & Sunscreen too....

Kids Activities - We have lots to keep the kiddy's entertained too - All being offered FREE !!

Pony Rides, Face Painting, Bouncy Castle,  Games and More....

Cowboy Challenge - come watch some real cowboys in action! 

Performing over the afternoon, the Cowboy Challenge is based on horsemanship and camaraderie found in ranch-based activities and trail riding. Riders demonstrate their skills and those of their horse's, as they undertake a series of obstacles.... all the while having a great time!  

Shoeing Demo's - Trevor Sutherland giving demonstrations over the afternoon. Come see what its all about. 

Kanine Koas - A race like no other- with a $2,000 prize pot......Kick-off is at 3.15pm.  Sure to be an entertaining viewing as these contestants prove they have what it takes to to beat the pack - a real test their of their best mates loyalty!
